We actually just rescued a Hammond Organ (thanks to my friend Maria) that it is supposed to go up there. So far it is still in the garage because it is way to heavy for just me an Daniele to carry it on top of the stairs…

I had a very old Billy bookshelf and a malm night stand (both birch vener)

more 2 stools franklin and a Galant desk (birch veneer)

I panted the billy, the desk and the nightstand white, and the stools red

I flipped billy horizontally and moved the shelves, add a couple of foot that I painted grey

And painted it white as well.

put everything together and add some of my art work on the walls

Basically our main floor is one big space with living room, dining room and kitchen. So in order to define better the spaces, we decided to paint a couple of accent walls. Here is a basic and 3D plan of the house already with the grey wall painted.

…I had to add some LADYFReAKDeSIGN sparkle….

I found a stencil by Bansky (if you don’t know who he is…you should research, he is awesome)which I really really like, and it is easy enough for me to replicate: a little girl flying away with balloons.

So I drew it, and sticked it to my canvas, picked a dark blu-green color, created the color (hardest thing to do) and started paiting

then I removed the stencil, and the result was…ehm, so and so!

I had to fix it with some white, and I guess the little girl ended up with huge feet! Since the background was a little too flat for my taste, I created different shadings. Here is the result:

I decided to do a couple of projects with them. The first one is..a cork ball, completely useless, but beautiful to watch.

I bought a small ball and I just glued the corks

The second one is a simple bulletin board for Daniele’s Office:

I decided to design my own version of it and here is the result, I really love it. I just needed some random buttons, more or less the same color, but not the same shape and then I added pieces of wood I had, price for the project $7.75…not bad!

With the brown fabric I created a top, just looping it around my chest and sewing the edge

With the tribal fabric I cut 2 big triangles and sewed the edges. Then I put those two parts together

The I cut the skirt the length I wanted, and for one time I didn’t want something too long, and voila’! A Summer dress

I finally have a nightstand!

Let’s go around the house, because there are some news: in the living room we finally found the perfect coffe table, made by recycle wood. I still need to work a bit on it, I need tung oil to finish it.

And here are our new yellow chairs for the outdoor patio, and yes, as you can see Daniele won and we actually bought a gas grill, at least we earned some miles buying it…
